About

I am Juan Pablo Marín Díaz, a data scientist, entrepreneur, and thinker passionate about the intersection of data, technology, and the philosophy of science. My work explores how knowledge is structured, how we validate truth in an age of information abundance, and how data can be harnessed to drive positive societal change.

As the founder of Datasketch, I develop tools that make data science accessible, transparent, and actionable, particularly for those organizations who lack the resources to do so. I believe that the way we collect, analyze, and interpret data is not just a technical challenge—it’s a philosophical one. What we measure, how we measure it, and how we act on those insights shape the very nature of knowledge itself.

My interests span epistemology, scientific methodology, and computational models of reasoning. I’m particularly fascinated by how artificial intelligence is transforming the way we understand reality, and I advocate for a future where humans and machines collaborate to expand the boundaries of discovery while reducing inequalities.

I write, speak, and develop projects on topics including data visualization, network science, AI ethics, and digital storytelling. My goal is to bridge the gap between data science and the humanities, ensuring that technology remains a tool for insight to build resilient and equitable societies.
